I Know A Little About a Lot

hammertimeI am a wealth of adventure-related info.  Over 20 years in the adventure business will fill your head with all sorts of things.  I know the best way to attach mesh to the frame of a shark cage is with plastic zip ties, but also that the zip ties must be clipped tight and sanded, to make sure fingers aren’t pierced by shark divers, grasping onto shark cage bars.  I know the MiG-29 can climb to 20 km high, but that the typical altitude reached is 17 km in summer months and 18 km in winter months.  I know you’re much less likely to become airsick or seasick if you have a little food in your stomach, so one of the biggest mistake MiG flyers make is not eating anything prior to flying. I know it’s best for HALO jumpers to be clean-shaven, so the required oxygen mask fits better and that great hammerhead season in Bimini is December through April.

If you’re considering a life-changing adventure and have a question, don’t hesitate to ask me.  I just might know the answer, and if not, there’s a good chance I’ll know someone who does.

Thirty years ago, I took a job that changed my life. I signed on as one of the first employees of a new company selling MiG fighter jet flights in Russia. Now, I'm considered something of an Adventure Goddess. I've written a book about adventure and have flown a fighter jet, floated in zero-g and a whole lot more. Life is either an incredible adventure or nothing at all, right?
