Eclipse Skydives are Result of Extensive Planning

Alex Coker HAHO Tandem 1Tomorrow, several members of the IA team will travel to Portland, Tennessee, and begin making final preparations for Monday’s special Eclipse HAHO Jumps.  If all goes as planned, a lucky group of international adventurers will be in the air during Monday’s total and partial eclipse, literally enjoying a bird’s eye view of the darkened sky.  The thrill-seekers are set to make extreme high-altitude, military-style “HAHO” jumps, allowing them to remain airborne 20 minutes or more.

I had the option of going along for the adventure, but agreed to stay behind and oversee our Sarasota office.  Instead, I’ll be heading to DeLand, Florida in October to oversee our next special skydiving event….a high-altitude jump over Florida, with Skydive Everest’s Tom Noonan.
